Crucé la frontera de la Guatemala y El Salvador en 31 Noviembre y fui directo al pueblito se llama Tacuba. El ubicuo niño dijo "hola" cuando entré el colectivo, algo que es muy extraño. Pero la gente del Salvador aparece ser una gente muy amable. El día siguiente, dos holandesas y yo fuimos a un paseo por El Parque Nacional El Imposible. Nuestra guía fue muy amable y tomé la oportunidad para pedir muchas cuestiones. Así ahora, una descripción del viaje.
Encontramos muchas plantas como:
- el espárrago
- el bamboo: para acabar derrumbamiento en los campos de café
- el copalchín: un árbol que actúa como protección del viento por el café
- el anís
- el árbol de la almendra
- árbol de zorrillo: tenía un mal olor
- el ayote: una planta como una calabaza pequeña que es usado en las pupusas - una tortilla de maíz normalmente con queso, fríjol, y cerdo
- árbol de pito: tiene un fríjol rojo qué gente usa en los collares de rosario)
- árbol de limón
- una milpa
- muchos campos de café
Además, él nos dijo de tres plantas medicinal:
- la caña de cristo: como el ruibarbo, para limpiar el sistema digestión. Tenía un sabor restauración
- guaco: se comen cuando tenga una infección interna
- un flor bonita se llama la Perla de Oriente: para cicatrizar el bronquitis y el tos
El camino mismo no era muy lindo. Sino con el guía y pedir cuestiones todo el tiempo, lo hecho para un buen viaje.
Antes de salir, vimos la casa de nuestra guía que tuvo una maquina para hacer la harina de maíz (para las pupusas y otras cosas) y para moler el fríjol del café.
He estado en la Santa Ana también, un departamento capital. Tiene un teatro viejo que estuvo lleno de madres y niñas (solo vi un niño) que estarán practicando para un drama. Es posible que estuviera lo único turista en la Santa Ana.
Subí un volcán llamado
Izalco, 3 Diciembre. Pensar que subirlo era imposible solo dos cientos y cuarenta años antes. Antes llegamos del base del volcán, fuimos por un bosque de robles y vi una ardilla pequeña, que bonita. El bajado fue muy divertido, tenía mi propio derrumbamiento si andaba a la rapidez correcta. Había un hotel encima del Cerro Verde (otro volcán cerca) que nunca abría porque la erupción acabó el año que el hotel construyo.

I crossed over from Guatemala to El Salvador on 31 November and headed straight to a small little town called Tacuba. The ubiquitous little boy said "hi" as I entered, something that is very unusal. But the people of El Salvador appear to be very friendly. The following day two Dutch people and I went for a walk through the National Park Impossible. Our guide was very friendly and I took the opportunity to ask many questions. So, here is a description of the trip:
We encountered many plants like:
- Asparagus
- Bamboo: to stop landslides in the coffee fields
- A tree called "copalchín": acts as wind protection for the coffee
- Aniseed plant
- Almond tree
- Skunk tree: smelled very bad.
- Ayote: a plant like a small pumpkin that is used in pupusas - a corn tortilla that normally contains cheese, beans, and pig
- The Pito tree: it has a red bean that people use for rosary beads
- Lemon tree
- Corn plantation
- Many coffee crops
Furthermore, he told us of three plants used medically:
- Christ Cane: like rhubarb, for cleaning the digestive system. It had a fresh taste
- Guaco: One eats it when one has an internal infection
- A beautiful flower called the Pearl of the Orient: For curing bronchitis and coughs
The walk itself wasn´t very beautiful. However, with the guide and asking questions all the time, it made for a good trip.
Before we left, we saw the house of our guide that had a machine for making corn flour and for grinding coffee beans.
I have been in Santa Ana too, a departmental capital. It has an old theatre that was full of mothers and young girls (I only saw one boy) that were practicing for a play. It´s possible that I was the only tourist in Santa Ana.
I climbed a volcano called
Izalco, on 3rd December. To think that to climb it was impossible only two hundred and forty years ago. Before we arrived at the base of the volcano, we went through a forest of oaks and I saw a small squirrel, pretty cute. The trip down was very fun, I had my own landslide if I walked with the correct speed. there was a hotel on top of Green Hill (another volcano) that never opened because the eruption stopped the year the hotel was constructed.
